Rosaruby Kagan Glaberman
Originally trained in New York City in Grotowski based physical theatre, Rosaruby has been performing,
writing and producing independent theatre pieces internationally for over fifteen years, collaborating with companies such as North American Cultural Laboratory (NaCl) , Reverend Billy's Stop Shopping Gospel Choir, The Living Theatre , Ariel Dance Theatre and Rubber Repertory. She works professionally in film (ACTRA) and theatre and is the founder of Red Body Productions creating original works such as Buddha and the Rock Star (2012) and performed her own devised solo show Bunny Bunny: Gilda Radner, a Sort of Love Story, (2014 UnoFest, Segal Centre for Performing Arts ). She holds a BA in theatre from The New School University in NYC and an MA in Drama Therapy from Concordia University in Montreal. She is a licensed Psychotherapist and facilities arts based therapeutic workshops in the Montreal English School Board. www.redbodyproductions.com
Julia Ainsworth is a Montreal based Writer, Director and Arts Educator. Recent projects include The Live Action Theatre Project, Mud (The Other Theatre) and Unfit for Bears (Zeitgeist Theatre). Currently she is writing Mens Rea as the first recipient of the Playwrights Guild of Canada Mentorship Program, in collaboration with Teesri Duniya Theatre. Julia holds a BFA in Theatre from York and a Bachelor of Education from Queens. As a certified teacher and arts educator, Julia has worked extensively teaching performing arts in private and public schools and theatres.
